Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 24 May 2026

Vritah Technologies is committed to making the CRA Compliance Toolkit (www.cra-toolkit.com) accessible, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and its national transpositions, and with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Conformance status

The CRA Compliance Toolkit is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA

  • Interactive components with insufficient ARIA labelling (WCAG 1.3.1, 4.1.2): Several interactive elements — including the compliance assessment wizard steps, filter controls on the Requirements Explorer, and modal dialogs — have limited or missing ARIA roles, labels, and live-region announcements. Screen-reader users may not receive context for these state changes.
  • Keyboard navigation gaps (WCAG 2.1.1): The assessment wizard and some tool panels are not fully keyboard-navigable without a mouse.
  • Focus management (WCAG 2.4.3): When the single-page router navigates between pages, focus is not always moved to the new content region.
  • Inline style-driven layout (WCAG 1.4.12): Some components use inline style attributes that may override user-agent text-spacing customisations.
  • Language of UI strings (WCAG 3.1.1): A subset of labels in the German, French, and Spanish interfaces may still appear in English while full translations are being completed.

Disproportionate burden

We are not invoking the disproportionate burden exemption for any content at this time. All identified issues are in our remediation backlog.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 24 May 2026 based on an internal self-assessment against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. A third-party audit using automated tools (axe-core) and manual screen-reader testing is planned before 28 June 2026 (EAA deadline for new services).
