Citation Accuracy

Every quoted excerpt of the Cyber Resilience Act in this toolkit is machine-checked against the official regulation text — not just asserted.

Flagged for manual review

A flag doesn't always mean an error — trimmed quotes (“…”) and concatenated multi-item entries are common, legitimate causes. Each flagged citation still needs a human cross-check against the official text before it's cleared.

⚙️ How this check works

1

Every officialText field in our requirements data is extracted automatically.

2

Each excerpt is normalized (quotes, dashes, whitespace) and compared against the full text of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847.

3

Anything not found verbatim is flagged for manual review.

4

This check runs on every release, so this page reflects the current codebase, not a one-time audit.

What this does — and doesn't — check

Confirms quoted text matches the source regulation word-for-word (accounting for punctuation and whitespace differences).
✕ Does not verify that a citation number (e.g. "Article 13(4)") is attached to the right obligation, or that our plain-English interpretation of a requirement is correct. Those still require manual legal cross-checking.

Verified against

Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (Cyber Resilience Act), Official Journal of the EU, 20 November 2024

This is an automated content-accuracy check, not a legal audit or Conformity Assessment. Not legal advice.
