What's Exempt

Non-commercial open-source by individuals or non-profit foundations is generally exempt.

What's NOT Exempt

  • Open-source with paid support contracts
  • Commercial dual licensing
  • Open-source hosted as paid cloud service
  • Commercial products integrating OSS (integrator is liable)
